Asset Registers and Digital logbooks to support Facilities Management (FM)

Standards-driven planned maintenance deployed effortlessly anywhere.

On the 24th June 1999 at the Haydock Hotel England, we showcased our first electronic version of today's "Logbook Portal". It was a natural progression from our traditional paper-based building logbooks, solving the age-old loss, damage, access, and remote management problems. Today we have processed over two hundred and sixty thousand documents on behalf of our clients, from numerous industrial and commercial sectors, by field engineers from various skill types.

We have always believed that planned maintenance is a specialised area that requires specific skillsets and bespoke procedures, and there are no more critical areas than work planning, scheduling and coordination. Accordingly, we have continually invested in all our processes, initially in paper form and from 1997 digitally through "Bert", our cloud-based work planning and control application. Our early investment in this technology enabled us to work the way we do today, it has eliminated the need for costly depots and local offices and supports the use of local skills through our Trusted Partners Scheme. "Bert" enables our administration team to integrate our customer needs into their lifestyles, working from home, sharing the same data with our customers and field engineers. This private cloud infrastructure means we can effortlessly deploy our services into new territories, harmonising your maintenance policy worldwide.
