Our maintenance processes originally had their roots in traditional paper-based systems. Logbooks, Tee cards and the accompanying wall panels used to display them have been succeeded by the Log-Book Portal, solving the age-old problem of document loss, damage and remote management.
Simply put, it is a web interface or a window into Site Asset Manager (SAM), a bespoke application for building asset registers,
designing maintenance plans and securely storing asset-specific service reports (certificates). The benefit of this cloud technology means logbooks are no longer exclusively stored on-site. They are available for engineers, caretakers, auditors, managers and directors at any time through their browser, enabling collaboration for the various people involved in the management hierarchy.
The Log-Book Portal documents your assets by premises, system type and location. Assets have a unique identification reference number. Up-to-date real-time asset-specific reports inform you of their condition, highlighting those requiring urgent repair or replacement by viewing the “Assets by Status” option.
