Stage 7 - Procurement of skills and resources to fulfil the requirements of the maintenance plan. |
Competency and travel time to the site are the first factors we consider when allocating labour from our pool of Trusted Partners to the Maintenace Plan. Travelling is none productive activity and a driver to resource skills locally where ever possible. Some customers have high-quality local skills already established. In this case, registration of individual engineers and training to grant depositor access to the Logbook Portal could be all that will be required.
Any qualified engineer can be registered to deposit service reports onto our Logbook Portal (depositor status); the type of documents they can issue is determined by competency and trade qualifications obtained. Trusted Partners have a proven track record working with us over time and are subject to additional checks:
- Tools, test instruments and calibration certificates.
- Trade body accreditation and insurance.
- Personal protective equipment and means of transport.
- Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
- Working hours and 24-hour call-outs.
Death and taxes are said to be the only certainties in life; we would add engineers' dislike of paperwork. Our management hierarchy and processes aim to simplify and support Trusted Partners with filing compliance documentation before they leave your site.
